Service and Cleaning

Genovese Jewelers will clean your jewelry purchased online and check settings free of charge in-store. We recommend you have this done at least bi-annually so that your jewelry can be worn for many years.

Exchanges and Returns

Your purchase, in new condition, may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the original purchase date. Sale or clearance merchandise, special orders, modified items, and custom-designed jewelry may not be returned or exchanged. Credits or refunds are issued in accordance with the original method of payment. A merchandise credit will be issued for returns of any items received as a gift and not accompanied by its sales receipt. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash. Refunds do not include shipping costs or third-party processing fees, such as PayPal.

Damage Disclaimer

Genovese Jewelers uses special care in the handling and setting of gemstones, but is not responsible for damages related to unstable enhancement processes, pressure or heat-sensitive stones, or stone fractures, as there is an inherent risk in handling and setting stones of this nature. Likewise, Genovese Jewelers is not responsible for damage attributable to prior repairs, alterations, and/or incorrectly stamped metals.

Gemstone Enhancement Disclosure

Gemstone purchasers should be aware that natural gemstones are processed from the time they are first extracted from the Earth by one or more practice traditionally accepted by the gem and jewelry industry. All colored gemstones listed on this sales receipt are likely to have been subjected to a stable, and possibly undetectable, enhancement process to improve color and/or stability of the stone. Such enhancements of this nature may include, but are not limited to, heat treatment, irradiation, and impregnation. All relevant information about enhancements to stones is provided to the best of our knowledge. Prevailing market values are based on globally accepted practices and processes by the gem and jewelry trade.

The monetary value assigned by Genovese Jewelers is exclusively intended to assist our customers in obtaining insurance. Values represents the current market price needed to replace the exact item, or one closest in likeness to the original item from Genovese Jewelers, and is neither a guarantee of value, nor an offer to buy.
